Kitchen Aid Pouring Shield - Fits 5 & 6QT Bowl-Lift Models

Pour Shield works well for dry ingredients -   June 8, 2008 I just bought a new Prof. HD mixer, and got the shield because it seemed like a nice convenience to use the ingredient chute. It works very well, fits as expected, and it is easy to clean. The shield is made of a somewhat light plastic, so it wouldn't take being dropped or stressed in handling. I would appreciate it made slightly heavier. Using it to add ingredients is a snap, and it does prevent flour spray. I doubt I would use it for liquids though. I think this will be a handy accessory, and I would recommend it for avoiding flour mess when ingredients are added during mixing.
