There are various reasons why you may find yourself needing to pack up and ship your recent Fiesta® purchase. It could be that you're sending it as a gift to a loved one, packing it up for moving to a different town, or even selling your Fiestaware® secondhand. Here at Everything Kitchens, we have a very specific method of packing up delicate china to make sure it gets where it's going safely, and we're going to share our secrets with you! The first thing you'll need is our Shipping Essentials Packaging Box, which includes 14' x 14" Poly Foam Wrapping, 14' x 14" Industrial Bubble Wrap, and a 12" x 12" x 12" Thick Cardboard Box. With this set, you can carefully wrap each individual piece of Fiestaware® first in the Poly Foam wrap. You can then place the wrapped Fiestaware® in the box, with larger, wider pieces on the bottom and small pieces on top. Take care to wrap very thoroughly, and use the Industrial Bubble Wrap included to fill out the inside of the box, bottom, sides and top, to prevent any movement. We recommend doing a gentle shake test once the box is packed. Shake the box and listen and feel for any movement. If there is any, you should open the box and add more packing material. We recommend to avoid over-filling your box with your Fiestaware®. A good rule of thumb is that a box should just be around 12-15 lbs at maximum. With this thorough packing, it drastically decreases the chances of any breaks or chips along the way!
