Caramel Roasted Pears

Serves 4

by Le Creuset (shown in White Heritage Square Dish)

Ingredients

• 4 large ripe pears, peeled and cut into wedges
• 4 tbsp sugar
• 60g butter, melted
• 1 tbsp honey

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Place the pear wedges in a baking dish and add the remaining ingredients. Toss to coat the pears. Roast in the oven for 20 minutes or until the sauce starts to caramelize.

Serve hot, drizzled with the extra sauce from the pan.

Cook’s note: You can also substitute the pears for apples.
